Mumbai: Controversial cartoonist Aseem Trivedi, who was evicted out of the Bigg Boss house last week feels satisfied that though for a short time on the show, he achieved his goal of spreading social awareness.

Says Aseem, “I came in the house only with the aim of spreading social awareness through the medium. It was a nice group that we formed with Vrajesh Hirjee, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Sapna Bhavnani and myself. We spoke a lot on the subject. In fact we all sang the theme of Lok Pal, Band karo ye bhrashtachaar a couple of times. Vrajesh was very inspired and is planning a comedy show based on malpractices in India.”

Aseem who shared a good relationship with Sapna Bhavnani, revealed that he did not think that Sapna who comes from a glamarous background would be a dedicated social activist. In fact, in the first nomination round, he had voted Sapna out. “I really feel sorry for that! I did not know that she would be so humble and genuine. In the second week when we bonded together, I regretted my decision.”

Now that he is out of the house, Aseem looks at opening or being a part of an intrinsic group of social activists.
